For a legal wedding in St. Barts, you will need to submit a complete dossier one month in advance to your wedding. You may need to complete a residency on the island during this time. You will also need two witnesses, passports, a certificate of matrimonial capacity, and other documents (as listed below). If either party is divorced, the original decree must be provided. If either partner is widowed, a death certificate must be provided.
